Libby (Library 2 Go)

Borrow E-books, audiobooks and magazines. Libby the reading app for our library built by Overdrive

Through a partnership with the Oregon Digital Library Consortium and using the Libby app, the Tillamook County Library has access to downloadable e-books, audiobooks and e-magazines that you can put on your portable device and enjoy anywhere!  Three easy steps get you started.

1. Download the app

2. Search for the Chinook Library Network - Tillamook

3. Enter your full library card and pin number (typically the last four of your phone number)

E-books

E-books are available in a variety of formats for many portable devices, including Kindle, Apple iOS devices, Android devices, Nook, and smart phones. Title can be downloaded for reading offline

Audiobooks

Audiobooks can be listened to right in the Libby app via streaming or download.

E-magazines

Discover over five thousand magazine titles in seven languages. E-magazines can be flipped through like a regular magazine or individual articles can be opened by pressing the 'Article' button on any magazine page. You can also subscribe to a magazine to be alerted when the new issue drops.

 

More Details

Using your library card, up to ten (10) digital items (not including e-magazines) are checked out for 1, 2, or 3 weeks.  Once a book is due, it simply disappears from your device.  There are no overdue fees!  Just like a physical book, we only have a certain number of copies of most digital titles.  If a book is currently checked out, you may place a hold on the item.

You don't need a portable e-reader to take advantage of the service.  Read or listen on your smartphone or tablet using the Libby App.  E-books, audiobooks, and e-magazines can also be read on a personal computer.

To start browsing the selection of titles, follow this link to Library2Go.  You will need your library card number and pin number (in most cases, last four digits of your telephone number).  Be sure to select the Chinook Library Network as your participating library.
